Bohler Engineering’s Charlotte office is performing landscape architecture and site civil and consulting services for this 112-unit affordable housing development in Charlotte’s Belmont neighborhood that broke ground on August 4th. Laurel Street Residential is developing the project on Allen Street, on a vacant lot owned by St. Paul Baptist Church. The development will include a 60-unit senior apartment building, 29 townhouse-style units for families and a 23-unit garden-style apartment building. They’ll be restricted to senior citizens and families making 60 percent or less of the area’s median income.
