Bohler Engineering was retained by First Development Corp. to provide comprehensive site planning and landscape architecture design for the development of a 9,997 SF Walgreens Pharmacy. The site plan includes a drive thru with 53 parking stalls on a 2.6 acre parcel in Wading River, NY. Given the site’s location in the Central Pine Barrens Compatible Growth area, it was critical that our design team maintain 35% of the site’s natural vegetation. The site was designed to accommodate pedestrians; the design includes walkways to the front entrance from Town sidewalks and a bike rack.
