Bohler Engineering is helping the top minor league affiliate of the Boston Red Sox establish their new home in Worcester, Massachusetts.

The “PawSox,” who have played in Pawtucket, Rhode Island since 1973, announced recently that the team is moving operations to an 18-acre mixed-use redevelopment named Polar Park for their 2021 season. Bohler has been working with the developer and team throughout the planning process and is excited the project is proceeding to the design phase.

Located in Worcester’s Canal District, Polar Park will transform a currently underutilized site with a 10,000-person ballpark, new apartments, two hotels, and retail and restaurant space.
