#BohlerCares: Supporting Local Charities

04 April, 2018

Bohler strives to advance the purpose and ambitions of our clients, including their philanthropic goals. For over a decade, our team has supported the charitable efforts of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) across our footprint, including recent events in Philadelphia and New Jersey.

Philadelphia

At CBS 3’s ninth annual Ronald McDonald House Charities telethon, Bohler’s Lehigh Valley branch volunteered to raise funds benefiting the RMHC of the Philadelphia Region. The RMHC is a non-profit organization that creates, finds and supports programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children in the community.

Bohler Principal Mike Jeitner joined his Lehigh Valley teammates Melissa Bean, Kirsten Calabro and Justin Klee in taking pledges over the phone during the 14 hour on-air fundraiser. As a corporate sponsor, Bohler also made a monetary donation in support of families staying at Philadelphia RMH.

Last year’s event raised over $1.2 million for the organization. Bohler has participated in the event for the last 7 years.

New Jersey

Bohler’s Warren team raised money via an employee-led “Penny Wars” challenge. Coupled with a 100% corporate match, our team raised nearly four thousand dollars for the Ronald McDonald House of Central and Northern New Jersey. The money will go towards supporting families of sick children by providing housing, financial assistance and emotional support.
