Luxury Private Terminal Opens at Westchester County Airport

Bohler helped Million Air, a private aviation company, and Jacob White Construction create a luxury, resort-like terminal and a state-of-the-art hanger at Westchester County Airport in White Plains, NY. Our team provided civil engineering, surveying, and landscape architecture services for the project.

The grand opening party for the new 22,000 SF private terminal was held last week. The building features fire places, a coffee bar, an indoor valet, and conference rooms that create a lodge-style ambiance.

The hangar, which opened last year, was the first new aircraft storage facility at the airfield in more than 20 years. The 50,000 SF facility can hold 13 aircrafts and 5,000 SF of office space. It features heated on-site ramps and hangar floors, allowing temperatures to be maintained for the aircrafts and pilots.

Through the new facilities, Million Air is raising the bar on luxury. They are designed to meet demand for improved services and facilities. The buildings will also stimulate the local economy by creating jobs and bringing businesses to the community, in addition to attracting and retaining business for Million Air.

Further development on the site is planned to include another 68,000 SF hangar and 40,000 SF of offices and maintenance shops.
