New Blue Point Brewery Location Opens for Business

24 April, 2019

Blue Point Brewing Co., owned by Anheuser-Busch InBev, recently celebrated the grand opening of their new 74,000 SF facility, coinciding with their 16th annual Cask Ales Festival.

The exciting new site includes a tasting room and restaurant, which officially opened to the public last week. The facility features an oyster bar, a stage for live music, and a beer garden, complete with views of both the 54,000 SF brewery, as well as the scenic Patchogue Lake.

The new location is just minutes down the road from Blue Point’s old River Avenue brewery, maintaining its Patchogue roots. Sticking with tradition, the new site pays homage to the previous location, with some design elements taken from the bar at the old brewery.

Bohler provided civil engineering, surveying, permitting, landscape architecture, and construction administration services for the 74,000 SF brewery and restaurant. The successful development of their new facility helped Blue Point multiply their previous production capability by an estimated 400-600% and added a 1,200 SF loading dock, achieving a major business goal for the company. At their new location, the company is better positioned to continue expanding and scaling their current operations.
