New Neighborhood Destination Breaks Ground in Framingham

23 October, 2018

Bohler proudly joined Baystone Development at the recent groundbreaking for an exciting redevelopment in Framingham, MA. The Buckley, a luxury apartment community, will soon bring new life to the former site of the Mount Wayte Plaza shopping center.

Once a hub of activity, the 6.7-acre site had become neglected and the community has long-awaited its revival. Bohler provided civil engineering and landscape architecture services for the project. Bohler also facilitated permitting for the development, securing approvals from the Framingham Planning Board and Conservation Commission and acquiring special permits from the Framingham Zoning Board of Appeals.

The high-end complex will feature 210 modern units within three multistory buildings and a two-story, 5,700-SF amenity building with a fitness center and business center. Outdoor amenities include a pool, lounge with fire pits, grill areas, and a dog park. A 2,800-SF standalone restaurant will also be part of the new development, as well as an on-site MWRTA bus stop. With The Buckley’s close proximity to the Framingham commuter rail station, the new complex brings a transit-oriented culture to the neighborhood and truly provides a convenient and upscale living experience for residents and commuters alike.
