Bohler is proud to have supported the recent grand opening of Aspire Apartments, an 86-unit affordable housing community in Southeast Washington, D.C. Developed by Enterprise Community Development and Durrani Development, the $49.1 million project delivers high-quality, sustainable housing designed to meet Enterprise Green Communities standards.
Bohler’s MidAtlantic teams provided land surveying and planning, landscape architecture, and design services to help bring the vision for Aspire to life. The new community replaces a 1960s-era single-family building with a modern, higher-density multifamily development that incorporates solar panels, a green roof, and other clean energy features.
Aspire Apartments offers one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, with the majority affordable to households earning 60% or less of the area median income (AMI). Eighteen apartments are reserved for families earning 30% AMI or less through DC’s Local Rental Subsidy Program. Amenities include a club room, business center, bike storage, yoga and meditation space, and a playground.
As the first project under Enterprise’s Let’s Build Accelerator program, Aspire also represents a model for how collaboration, innovation, and inclusive investment can deliver equitable housing solutions.
Bohler is honored to have partnered with Enterprise Community Development, Durrani Development, Hamel Builders, GPS Design, LLC, and other dedicated organizations to help create a sustainable, community-focused development that will have a lasting impact on Southeast DC.
