Bohler Cares Goes Back to School

29 August, 2018

Bohler Cares is in back-to-school mode. In keeping with Bohler’s corporate culture of giving back to our communities, our teams helped children across the East Coast head back to school armed with the tools and supplies to embark on a new year of learning. From New England to the Southeast, Bohler employees supported school supply drives, preparing students within our local communities for academic success.

Karing in New England

Bohler’s Southborough, MA team collected school supplies for Kylee’s Kare Kits for Kidz, a local non-profit that provides school supplies and meals to nearly 500 underprivileged children of all ages.

Joining Forces for Jersey Cares, Educational Resources for Children and United Way

Partnering with Bohler-affiliate and traffic engineers Atlantic Traffic & Design Engineers and environmental and geotechnical engineers Whitestone Associates, Bohler’s Warren, NJ, Hartford, CT and Chalfont, PA teams collected over 150 backpacks, 200 notebooks, and 500 pencils, among other school supplies to be donated to Jersey Cares, Educational Resources for Children and United Way of Bucks County.

A Helping Hand in Virginia

In Warrenton, VA, Bohler’s team lent a helping hand to a local fifth-grader in need, donating all of his school supplies, as well as many additional items for his fellow classmates.

School Tools for Carolina Students

Bohler’s Charlotte, NC office welcomed the opportunity to participate in the largest school supply drive in the Carolinas. Through a local news station’s “9 School Tools” campaign, our team collected everything from notebooks to glue, which were donated to two non-profits focused on empowering underprivileged students.
