When Loudoun County’s first Whole Foods Market opens later this month, it’ll bring with it a lot of firsts for the county — and developer Regency Centers hopes plenty of that area’s wealthy shoppers.

Clad in a variety of industrial-chic metals, elaborate wooden pergolas and awnings, and a mix of stone that seems like something out of a nouveau country estate, it’s clear Regency really went for it with Belmont Chase, its 90,000-square-foot, Whole Foods-anchored shopping center in Ashburn.
