Brain Injury Rehab Facility Expansion Underway in Delaware

PeachTree Acres is a full-service, 24-hour assisted living facility providing brain injury rehabilitation services in Harbeson, DE. As one of the only residences and day-care centers for brain injuries in the state, they have a long wait list of residents needing their specialized services. Space is in high demand – and they need more of it.

Developer J.G. Petrucci Co., Inc. is delivering on that need with a forthcoming expansion to PeachTree Health Group’s facilities. As part of J.G. Petrucci’s team, Bohler provided civil engineering and permitting services. Together with the project team, Bohler helped secure development approvals faster than anticipated and created an opportunity to advance the project schedule.

According to Jim O’Connor, President of PeachTree Health Group, “We needed a partner that really understood our operations to expand our services into the Delaware market. We felt comfortable working with the J.G. Petrucci team again since they brought so much value and knowledge to our [previous] project.” He added that “construction is coming along much quicker than we had expected.”

Once complete, the facility will provide an additional 78 units, along with restaurant-style dining, activity rooms, physical therapy services, and exercise rooms.
