NEW YORK, NOVEMBER 2, 2018 – Bohler Engineering is pleased to announce that Bryan Winter, RA has joined its New York City operations as a Code and Zoning Consultant.
In this role, Bryan is responsible for strategic consulting in regards to the entitlement process. This includes coordination with local borough officials, zoning analysis, code interpretations, and overall filing strategy. With more than 30 years of experience designing, managing, and representing projects as an expert witness, Bryan’s credentials align seamlessly with the position.
“Bryan is an exceptional addition to our Manhattan office,” said Associate and leader of Bohler NY’s Permitting Division, Tom Tabone. “His experience, combined with his knowledge of New York City real estate development consulting, will create new opportunities for our team and allow us to continue expanding our services throughout the five boroughs.”
Bryan’s previous experience includes development and architectural consulting for local real estate projects. He has also served as Deputy Borough Commissioner for the New York City Department of Buildings, managing borough operations and staff in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and the Bronx. Bryan holds a Masters in International Business, and has taught more than 5,000 students in construction, finance, and New York City Zoning. Bryan’s passion for teaching will correlate well at Bohler, as he leads technical trainings internally for younger staff. In addition to his New York City experience, Bryan has successfully consulted on projects throughout the United States, China, and Japan.
