Clayton Watkins Rejoins Bohler Florida

Project management and regulatory expertise strengthens Tampa office

TAMPA, FL. May 10, 2019 – Bohler Engineering (Bohler) announced that Clayton Watkins, PE has returned to the firm’s Tampa operations in the role of project manager. Clay’s depth of experience, knowledge and relationships add value to the region’s clients and consulting teams.

Watkins was with the firm’s Tampa office prior to taking a position in the Current Planning division of Pasco County in 2016 as an Engineering Plan Reviewer. In 2018 he joined the Project Management Division of Pasco County. He worked in a project management capacity supporting proposed and approved Transportation CIP projects throughout the fast-growing region, including but not limited to road widening and proposed traffic signalization projects.

“Clay’s return to our team bolsters our management and consulting bench, but also brings valuable perspective from the municipal and regulatory side of the coin,” said Principal John Lapointe. “With the market continuing to move at break-neck speed, we have already seen the positive impact on our clients and their projects.”

In addition to traditional project management responsibilities, Watkins will also be focusing on the development and mentorship of design engineers and up-and-coming managers. He is a licensed professional engineer, a graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and an active member of industry organizations such as the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
