Demolition is now underway at the future site of the Lehigh Valley Flex Center. Upon completion, the center will feature 470,000 SF of industrial space on 31 acres in Hanover, PA. The three-building complex will meet the increasing demand for manufacturing and flex space options in the area.
Bohler provided civil engineering and permitting services for the project, including a new stormwater management facility. Given the site’s susceptibility to sinkholes, our team designed a multi-layer, above-ground infiltration basin as flat as possible to allow stormwater to permeate the soil across a larger area. This approach mitigated risk of potential sinkholes that could be caused by an underground basin.
Construction on the first phase is set to be completed by the end of the year.
