The 2026 TEDC Spring Conference 2026 will bring together economic development professionals from across Tennessee for three days of networking, knowledge sharing, and collaboration in a relaxed coastal setting in Panama City Beach.

The conference will kick off Wednesday with registration, an early bird reception, and informal networking opportunities, including the inaugural “Lazy River Lucky Duck Derby” and evening hospitality gatherings designed to set the tone for a highly engaging event.

Thursday’s programming will feature a full day of insights and discussion, beginning with a welcome from Ryan Egly. Sessions will focus on workforce development, marketing, and policy, including a panel on programs preparing Tennessee’s workforce and product, as well as a marketing session centered on storytelling and community wins. Attendees will also hear key updates from organizations such as the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development and the Southeast Economic Development Council, and gain deeper insight into legislative priorities during a policy discussion with the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce & Industry. The afternoon will transition into networking and recreation with the TEDC Golf Tournament, followed by an evening dinner and reception.

On Friday, the conference will continue with practical, implementation-focused sessions, including a “Toolbox” discussion on incentives and economic development financing, along with updates and insights from the Tennessee Valley Authority. The event will conclude with closing remarks, prize announcements, and a preview of upcoming TEDC programming.
