Bohler takes home a win! Working alongside partners of Hugo Neu Corporation, Town of Kearny, STUDIOS Architecture, WXY architecture + urban design, New Jersey Future awarded Kearny Point the Smart Growth Award.

Our New Jersey team, led by Dave Wisotsky, Project Manager, took the lead on permitting services, site civil and consulting engineering and surveying for this diverse project of 130 acres and two million square feet of office and co-working space. Kearny Point’s scale, historical significance and diverse sectors created a complex opportunity to demonstrate our ability to tackle a project with numerous product types in one asset including office, industrial and waterfront space.

The project’s roots as a shipyard date back to WWI and inspired today’s ambitious revitalization. Following Hurricane Sandy in 2012, the complex was transformed into flexible office, commercial and public waterfront spaces. Kearny Point is now home to more than 100 small businesses, more than 70 percent of which are women- or minority-owned.
