Bohler Engineering is helping Metro Storage LLC expand further in New Jersey. The company’s seventh self-storage facility in the state is now in the works in Randolph, NJ, and it’s the fifth that Bohler has helped bring to life.

The forthcoming 118,000 SF facility will consist of a three-story building on 3.5 acres with 840 self-storage units. The project features climate-controlled storage, drive-up access, and large interior drive-in bays for loading and unloading.

Bohler overcame several design challenges to make this project possible. The existing site is located on a steep slope, creating grading challenges and requiring soil export. Bohler’s team designed a grading and site plan that reduced the cost of the site work while maximizing developable land. Bohler provided civil engineering, surveying, permitting, and landscape architecture services.

Between its convenient location and the state-of-the-art storage amenities and security it will offer, the facility will meet the needs of local residents and businesses alike.
