Type of Development:
Slated for 2019 completion, this multi-phase redevelopment project includes relocating the Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC) headquarters and other county agencies to 309,000 SF of new LEED Platinum office space, and transforming the outside transit-oriented area into an amphitheater for residents in the area.
Additionally, M-NCPPC’s existing office building in Silver Spring is being redeveloped into a mixed-use property with 400 residential units and ground floor retail space. The two projects combined bring one million square feet of sustainable development to Maryland.
