Bohler Engineering proudly supported Kids for Kids Foundation at the non-profit’s second annual Winter Ball last Thursday. Along with other notable sponsors and attendees, Bohler team members helped raise over $150,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital while enjoying a silent auction, raffle, and entertainment at Huntington, NY’s Oheka Castle.
Bohler Principal Joseph Deal, PE and his wife, Jill, served as head of the event committee for the memorable occasion. The Deals also helped to organize the inaugural Winter Ball in 2017, which raised over $120,000. “We’re excited to see this event continue to grow,” said Joseph. “It’s fulfilling to know we are impacting the development of research, awareness and treatments for children and families in need.”
Kids for Kids Foundation assists in raising money and awareness “for organizations that support children and families struggling with medical challenges.”
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. It is the only National Cancer Institute-designated as a Comprehensive Cancer Center devoted solely to children.
