Steven Singleton Joins Bohler Carolinas to Expand Planning Practice

Diverse Expertise Strengthens Capabilities Within Region and the Southeast

Bohler announced that Steven Singleton, RLA has accepted the role of director of planning and landscape architecture in the firm’s Carolinas operations.

Working from the firm’s Charlotte office, Singleton brings 20 years of creative design, project management and industry expertise to the organization and its clients.

“Steven’s experience building a planning and landscape architecture practice aligns with our long-term expansion goals in the region,” said Principal Andrew Moriarty.

“He brings a great deal of passion, energy, and creativity to the design and permitting process. Steven’s addition to our team will further enhance the sophistication of our design solutions, and our strides to entitle and permit our client’s projects as quickly and effectively as possible.”

Prior to Bohler, Singleton worked as the landscape architecture manager with Kentucky-based Banks Engineering, with previous roles at Glatting Jackson (now AECOM) and CARMAN. His portfolio features residential, mixed-use, community and urban design projects including the Speed Art Museum in Louisville, KY and the Lake Eva Master Plan project in Haines City, FL.

Singleton holds a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from the University of Kentucky, as well as a Master’s in Business Administration from Sullivan University. He is a licensed landscape architect in North Carolina, Florida and Kentucky and active as a member of the American Society of Landscape Architecture.
