Three Bohler Projects Recognized by Philadelphia Business Journal

24 April, 2018

Three Bohler Philadelphia projects have recently been recognized by the Philadelphia Business Journal as some of the Best Real Estate Deals. The winners are changing the development landscape in Philadelphia.

Eastern Tower

Eastern Tower is the largest project to be built in Philadelphia’s Chinatown to date. It’s a 200,000-SF mixed-use building with apartments, offices, retail, community space, and an early childhood learning center. Bohler provided permitting and civil engineering services.

The project was awarded Best Financing for the financing that developer Philadelphia Chinatown Development Corporation did for the project.

SoNo

SoNo is the redevelopment of a 220,000-SF old warehouse. With the recent lease of Target, the building is now fully occupied with Yards Brewery and Philadelphia Department of Records and Archives.

Initially, the building was intended to be creative office space, but was rezoned for mixed-use to have flexibility with the tenants. The project was given the award for Best Redevelopment.

Vantage

Vantage  is a 470,000-SF student housing facility for Temple University with 368 fully-furnished units. The ground level will have retail and restaurant space, and there will be a coffee bar and fitness center for residents. Vantage is the second phase in the redevelopment of an old high school.

The first phase, also a Bohler project, was The View at Montgomery, another student housing development, which opened in 2014. Bohler provided permitting and civil engineering services for both projects. Philadelphia Business Journal recognized Vantage as an honoree for Best Sale.
