Foulger-Pratt has won site plan approval for a mixed-use residential-over-retail high-rise in downtown Bethesda.

The Potomac-based developer is consolidating four parcels in downtown Bethesda to develop a 330-unit tower rising to 24 stories with 11,000 SF of ground-floor retail. The Montgomery County Planning Board unanimously approved the redevelopment plan for 7126 Wisconsin Ave. at its March 7 meeting.

Working with Bohler’s Gaithersburg team on the site design and permitting for the project, Foulger-Pratt is buying about 277,000 SF of bonus density from the county for roughly $2.9 million, which will go toward park development in Bethesda.

Of the 330 units, 15% will have their rents capped at prices deemed affordable for lower-middle-income households, in keeping with county law. Learn more here.
