780 Morrissey Breaks Ground in Dorchester

A six-story, 219-unit multifamily community will begin construction in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, MA.

The facility will offer indoor and outdoor amenity spaces, work-from-home spaces, fitness centers, two courtyards, and connection to the planned DCR/MassDOT Neponset River Greenway bike path. 29 of the units will be designated for below market rent.

For The Michaels Organization, the project is an opportunity to provide high-quality housing for young professionals and grad students following Boston’s booming life science industry.

Bohler’s Boston team is providing site civil and consulting engineering, surveying, and landscape architecture services for the community. In addition to the apartment buildings, Bohler is working with the overall project team, State, and City agencies to design and coordinate the podium parking garage, streetscape improvements, and bike path connections.
