Westrum Development recently held a ribbon cutting for a new multifamily community in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, known as Luxor Lansdale. The building is five stories with 205 units, consisting mostly of one-bedroom and studio apartments.

The community offers a range of shared amenities, including a dog park, bike share, yoga studio, fitness center, gaming area, and a resort-style pool and sundeck, as well as garage and surface parking. Bohler’s Southeastern Pennsylvania team provided site civil engineering, permitting, and landscape architecture design for the project.

The three-acre property was previously an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Superfund site due to environmental issues from the former Lansdale Finishers plant, which cleaned, treated, and applied finishes to baked metal components on the site. Developers sought support from the North Penn School District for a tax abatement ordinance to rehabilitate the distressed property. Lansdale Mayor Garry Herbert commended the project for transforming the previously contaminated land into a modern apartment building with attractive amenities.
