Giving Back with the Help of Our Clients

When presented with options this holiday season, Bohler’s clients chose generosity.

Through a new client-focused holiday gifting campaign, Bohler donated $50,000 to Feeding America to support countless families in need this year.

Traditionally, Bohler sent gift baskets to show our clients appreciation over the holidays. But that approach didn’t offer our clients any say in the process or an opportunity to choose what type of gift they wanted.

In 2022, Bohler’s marketing team decided to try something different. For the new approach, Bohler set up a “store” with seven gift options, including a curated wine selection, a Solo Stove, and a donation to Feeding America.

Nearly a quarter of clients who took an action chose the donation – the most of any of the gift options. That enabled Bohler to give on behalf of over 700 clients, including both those who selected the option and those who took no action.

Bohler’s resulting $50,000 donation will help provide 500,000 meals to underserved families throughout the country through Feeding America’s diverse programs.

“Challenging the status quo is part of our culture, for our operations as much as projects,” said Brooke Eaton, Director of Marketing Strategy and Solutions, on the decision to reinvent holiday gifting this year. “This mindset often leads to better ways of working. In this case, not only was it more effective in appreciating our clients, but it enabled us to make a generous donation to a very good cause.”
