Behavioral health nonprofit Elwyn is launching the first phase of its $100 million campus redevelopment in Delaware County with a new two-story, 78,000 SF school. Elwyn, Pennsylvania’s largest private academic school for students with disabilities, enrolls up to 400 students annually.
Supported by Bohler’s Chalfont office, the $47 million project involves demolishing a 168-year-old administration building to make room for the new facility. Bohler’s team provided fully integrated land development consulting services, including site civil engineering design, land planning, permitting, and landscape architecture design for the project.
Designed to serve two distinct student populations—those with complex behavioral needs and those with more independence, the new school will enable more tailored educational approaches. Construction is set to begin in January 2026, with completion expected in summer 2027. Learn more.
