Hartz Mountain Industries has officially unveiled The Reserve at Estuary, a 218-unit luxury apartment building and the final residential component of its landmark 60-acre Lincoln Harbor development in Weehawken, NJ. Located at 1525 Harbor Blvd., the seven-story building spans a full city block along the Hudson River and represents the culmination of a multi-decade effort to transform this prime stretch of New Jersey’s Gold Coast into a vibrant, mixed-use waterfront destination.
Bohler played a key role in helping realize the project, providing comprehensive site civil engineering, permitting, and entitlement services. Their involvement included navigating a particularly challenging New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) permitting process, which required approvals for both Waterfront Development and Flood Hazard Area Control Act regulations — critical components for a site located directly on the Hudson River. Bohler’s deep experience with complex regulatory environments allowed the team to proactively address permitting hurdles, minimize delays, and ensure alignment with state environmental standards while maintaining the developer’s project timeline.
Designed by MHS Architecture, The Reserve features a modern glass façade with dark iron spot brick accents and cantilevering floors that overlook the Hudson River promenade. The building offers a mix of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom-plus-den apartments, each with open layouts, luxury finishes, and many with private outdoor spaces such as balconies, patios, or terraces. Greystar serves as the property’s leasing and management team.
Residents have access to nearly 40,000 square feet of amenities, including a rooftop entertainment lounge, fitness center, resort-style pool, coworking lounge, and courtyard. The Reserve is also steps from a Whole Foods Market and will feature a community-driven retail concept opening in early 2026. The building also benefits from outstanding connectivity to Manhattan.
With the opening of The Reserve at Estuary, Hartz and its project partners — including Bohler— celebrate the near-final realization of a decades-long vision: a sophisticated urban lifestyle destination with high-quality living, walkable waterfront access, and seamless connectivity to New York City.
