Bohler Project Awarded Clubhouse of the Year by Golf Inc. Magazine

Recently featured in Golf Inc. Magazine’s Fall issue, Echo Lake Country Club in Westfield Township, NJ has been awarded Clubhouse of the Year, receiving first place in the Renovation category.

While the primary goal of the renovation was to update the facility for a more contemporary lifestyle, the design team focused on respecting the club’s 100-year history in the process. Along with several significant interior renovations, Bohler’s landscape architecture team reimagined the clubhouse’s exterior. Designs expanded the outdoor patio and created the opportunity for a view of the Manhattan skyline.

The project was recognized among Golf Inc.’s gold standard in golf renovations, development, amenities, operations, and clubhouses, selected by a panel of industry experts and past winners.

“We are thrilled to have so successfully accomplished our goal,” said Michael Basta, President of the club. “[We are] providing our members and guests spectacular spaces featuring stunning views.”

Judge for the award Bill Langley called the project, “A beautiful, transformative renovation. A spectacular achievement.”
