Construction on St. Luke’s University Health Network’s Monroe Campus expansion, which will double its size to 330,000 SF, is nearly complete.

The 165,000 SF expansion includes a new lobby, a 36-bed medical-surgical unit, an operating room and procedural area, a cutting-edge interventional radiology suite, cardio rehab, increased outpatient services, and a pharmacy. The expansion also creates shell space for future development as needed.

Bohler’s Lehigh Valley team contributed to the expansion by providing site civil engineering design, permitting, and landscape architecture services. Bohler’s stormwater management system is designed to manage the prior development, current expansion, and future needs of the site by providing for future parking expansion and site flexibility, allowing St. Luke’s to avoid further permits.

Don Seiple, President of St. Luke’s Hospital- Monroe Campus, believes the expansion will improve service, reduce wait times, and increase community access providing for the critical care needs of the community. The expansion will create 80 permanent positions, and the construction has employed approximately 250 workers. The expansion is expected to officially open on April 8.
