NJBIZ Names Bohler a Leader in Real Estate, Construction, and Design

The third annual Leaders in Real Estate, Construction, and Design awards were recently awarded by NJBIZ. Honorees are acknowledged for their industry leadership and significant contributions to the evolution of the commercial real estate market in New Jersey.

Bohler’s New Jersey team was awarded for delivering site civil engineering, permitting, and landscape architecture services for the $500 million redevelopment of Brick Church Station in East Orange. Bohler collaborated closely with Triangle Equities and Incline Capital on the redevelopment plan for the full city block.

The team’s design preserves the historic Brick Church rail station while making the city core more efficient. The Crossings at Brick Church Station, a public-private partnership with the city, will provide much-needed affordable housing with 820 mixed-income units, 200,000 SF of retail, restaurants, and commercial space, a pedestrian promenade and public plaza, and a 1,200-space parking garage.

The development, via its thoughtful design, will be a transformative project that enhances the quality of life for East Orange residents while setting a new standard for sustainable, transit-oriented living.
