Old Bridge Logistics Center Receives Two Industry Awards

Central 9 Logistics Park, a nine-building, 4.2 million square foot warehouse campus, has been honored with the United Way of Northern New Jersey 2024 Industrial Impact Award and the NAIOP New Jersey Industrial Deal of the Year. These accolades highlight the significant contributions and impacts of this expansive development in Old Bridge.

Central 9 Logistics Park stands out as one of New Jersey’s largest public-private partnerships. Spanning 800 acres, this impressive development brings numerous benefits beyond its primary function as a logistics hub. The project includes more than $35 million in offsite improvements, such as a new 18-hole municipal golf course and traffic upgrades. Additionally, the initiative includes the planting of 10,000 new trees and the preservation of 300 acres of land, showcasing a strong commitment to environmental sustainability.

As part of its partnership with Old Bridge, the developer planned, funded, and constructed an 18-hole public golf course, fulfilling a long-standing ambition of the township’s open space program. The logistics park has also made a substantial economic impact, creating over 2,000 jobs and bolstering the regional economy. Its first lease was signed in 2023 with Paragon Packaging, an innovative woman-owned business. The project team includes 2020 Acquisitions, Paragon Packaging, Cushman & Wakefield, Newmark, Alston Construction, M+H Architects, Bohler, Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla PC, and Old Bridge Township.

United Way of Northern New Jersey 2024 Industrial Impact Award

The United Way Commercial Real Estate Network, established in 1999, is a collaborative initiative between the commercial real estate industry and United Way of Northern New Jersey.
