Dulles Landing, considered the “Gateway to Loudoun County,” was designed as a pedestrian friendly shopping destination in Northern Virginia. This 80-acre commercial development includes several big box anchors and pad sites. The project required extensive jurisdictional coordination to secure both rezoning approval and several special exceptions. The Bohler team designed multiple above and below ground stormwater management systems and incorporated water features and plazas as part of the landscape design. Bohler also surveyed portions of the adjacent Dulles Airport and coordinated with the Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority (MWAA) in designing a section of roadway as it was located on airport property.
