Black Professional Network

Our logo draws inspiration from “Lift Every Voice and Sing” (often referred to as the Black National Anthem), with the sun symbolizing the lyric “Facing the rising sun of our new day begun” — representing hope and progress. Colors from the Pan-African Flag convey deeper meaning: red (shared ancestry), green (Africa’s natural wealth), yellow (resource-rich lands and ethnic harmony), and black (honoring the people). The design embodies pride, unity, and empowerment.

The Black Professional Network at Bohler celebrates and elevates Black contributions to society while fostering a supportive community that honors our rich history and lived experiences. Through education, connection, and empowerment, we highlight the profound impact of Black professionals at Bohler and beyond. Open to all Black employees and allies, the network drives meaningful conversations and promotes inclusivity.
