Bohler Celebrates 25 Years of Growth and Expansion in New England 

Bohler New England is proud to celebrate 25 years of delivering innovative land development solutions across the region. Since opening its Southborough office with just 10 employees, the team has expanded to four locations and grown to more than 120 professionals. 

Beyond its physical expansion, Bohler has evolved in the scale and diversity of its projects. From humble beginnings designing local, small-scale projects, the team now plays a pivotal role in some of New England’s most high-profile developments, including Polar Park and its surrounding mixed-use district, Encore Boston Harbor, and some of the region’s largest industrial facilities and solar fields. These landmark projects are revitalizing neighborhoods, fostering economic growth, and enhancing the local landscape. 

Bohler’s specialized expertise has also grown significantly. The New England team is playing a key role in advancing the firm’s nationwide support for the growing data center market through a dedicated mission critical team. This team is committed to providing consistent, high-quality service and deliverables to data center clients across the firm. 

Additionally, Bohler’s Planning, Landscape Architecture, and Design team, led by Matt Mrva, has also experienced significant growth, delivering impactful designs for several Everett City Parks, the YMCA of MetroWest, UMass Lowell, as well as luxury, market-rate, and affordable residential developments across the region.  

Bohler’s growth and success are driven by a dedicated group of experienced leaders who have built strong teams and spearheaded the firm’s expansion into New Hampshire, Boston, and Connecticut. Notably, John Kucich, Regional Manager, Austin Turner, Principal and Branch Manager, and Josh Swerling, Managing Director, Client Experience, have played key roles in this progress.

After spending the last 25 years in the same location, the firm has officially moved to a new home in Westborough. The modern facility offers amenities such as an on-site restaurant, gym, and walking trails, providing an enhanced workplace experience for employees.
