A new $200 million proposal aims to transform the long-abandoned Brodie Mountain in New Ashford, Massachusetts into a premier four-season destination, reimagining the former ski resort as a vibrant mixed-use Alpine Village.
Conceptual plans include 438 residential units spanning hotel rooms, townhomes, and multifamily housing, along with nearly 100,000 SF of commercial space featuring dining, retail, entertainment, and wellness amenities. Outdoor recreation would remain central to the experience, with plans for skiing infrastructure, cross-country trails, and year-round activities like mountain biking, golf, and outdoor concerts.
Bohler planners supported the early stages of the project by providing preliminary master planning, helping to shape the overall vision for how the site could be redeveloped. In addition, Bohler’s engineering team is playing a key role in addressing critical infrastructure challenges tied to the property’s existing cellular tower easement, working with the tower owner to redesign and reconstruct the access road to the summit and improve associated drainage systems.
