Preserving History at the Woods at Lindsey Place

A planned 275-acre single-family neighborhood is taking shape near Anna, Texas, on land that was once productive farmland cherished by the honorable Lindsey and Harlow families, who have been pillars of the community for more than a century.

The upcoming Woods at Lindsey Place community respects the land’s rich 140-year heritage by commemorating the family’s legacy through street and subdivision names.

Bohler’s land surveying team oversaw due diligence efforts for the property, completing boundary and topographic studies across two tracts of the original farmland. Additionally, the team provided platting services for subdivisions, easement acquisition, and construction staking for the installation of critical utility infrastructure. This initiative not only transforms the land but also celebrates the area’s deep-rooted legacy, incorporating the stories of the families into the fabric of this new community.
