Bohler’s landscape architecture and design team collaborated closely with stakeholders to create outdoor spaces that foster activity, relaxation, and community engagement. The design seamlessly navigates the challenges of a compact site while integrating with previously completed phases, ensuring a cohesive environment that meets both resident expectations and long-term operational goals. 

Designing Spaces for Activity, Connection, and Wellness

Bohler’s team designed a network of walkable spaces that encourage daily activity, relaxation, and social interaction among residents. Carefully planned pathways, accessible routes, and strategically placed gathering areas — including a thoughtfully sited dog park — create opportunities for recreation and casual engagement throughout the day. The resort-style pool offers a serene setting for warm-weather leisure, while pickleball courts support active recreation and serve as a hub for resident-driven programming. 

Despite a compact site, the amenity program was arranged to maximize functionality while maintaining an open, suburban feel. Bohler led the design and documentation of all outdoor amenities. Comprehensive construction documentation included detailed layouts, material specifications, planting plans, hardscape design, and grading, ensuring that every space was functional, navigable, and visually cohesive — supporting The Club West’s goal of fostering an active, connected, and engaged community.
