Second-Story Amenity Courtyard

Bohler’s landscape architects designed the courtyard to seamlessly blend with the building’s luxury theme while fostering a sense of community among residents.

Resort-Style Pool: The resort-style pool is the focal point of the courtyard, designed for both relaxation and recreation.  When the pool couldn’t be set into the parking deck, the team innovatively built it up, ensuring accessibility while maintaining a clear separation between seasonal and year-round amenity spaces.

Lounge Seating Areas: Comfortable, stylish seating that encourages community interaction and provides a serene space for unwinding.

Fire Pits and Outdoor Kitchen: These elements add warmth and enhance the communal experience, making the space inviting year-round.

Private Patios and Turf Exercise Area: Personal retreat spaces and an area for outdoor fitness, catering to the diverse needs of residents.

Creating a Community Retreat

A key feature of the redevelopment project was the restoration of an existing pond that had long been a staple of the community before falling into disrepair. Bohler played a central role in bringing the pond back to its original glory, designing and stabilizing the water feature, and creating a walkway around it to make it a focal point for the community. Historical documentation was carefully reviewed to ensure the restoration honored the site’s legacy, transforming the pond into a functional and beautiful space once again.

Bohler also designed a public park surrounding the pond, incorporating a fishing and viewing platform that encourages outdoor recreation and connects visitors with nature. Interpretive signage was added to share the historical significance of the site, while enhanced landscaping with thoughtfully selected plantings fostered a tranquil environment. Site furnishings, including benches and seating areas, were strategically placed to maximize comfort and views, making the park a welcoming spot for relaxation.
