Coda on H

Bohler provided landscape architecture and permitting services for approximately 4,000 SF of amenity space, including a magnificent rooftop terrace, for a 95,000 SF, eight-story boutique apartment complex along the H Street Corridor in Washington, D.C.

The hardscape features of the at-grade residential courtyard were developed by Bohler’s planning and landscape architecture team to match the monochrome mid-century modern look. Rhododendrons, Henry’s garnet sweetspire, and eastern redbuds are featured in the paving and planter design.

The rooftop deck, which incorporates concrete stepping stones set as pedestals along the strategically built and diversely vegetated roof, provides unobstructed views of the U.S. Capitol. This amenity space incorporates stormwater control runoff distributions for suitable planting beds.

The initial ALTA/NSPS land title survey for due diligence was completed by Bohler’s survey team. Surveyors assisted with the property purchase, and provided topography data for the site civil design. Subdivision and easement plating services were also required.

To support construction, Bohler surveyors provided infrastructure and building component construction stakeout services. Closeout of the project will require DC Wall Checks, DC Water As-built surveys, and an ALTA/NSPS land title survey to assist in the closing of the construction loan.
