Bohler Expands Land Surveying Capabilities in the Carolinas

To continue providing responsive land development services, Bohler has expanded its land surveying capabilities in the Carolinas through an additional team in its Charlotte office. Cary Watts, PLS has joined the firm as Survey Manager to lead Charlotte operations, expanding both capacity and geographic reach.

“The continual demand from commercial and residential clients has driven the expansion,” said Managing Principal Andrew Moriarty. “Additional surveying resources allow us to keep up with the market and deliver valuable front-end solutions.”

Watts is a veteran land surveyor with diverse technical expertise and project applications over the past two decades in the commercial real estate, residential development and infrastructure arena. His team offers boundary and topographic surveys, ALTA/NSPS surveys, construction staking and other construction-related and structural survey applications and technologies. Their local knowledge as well as responsive project schedules, will be an asset to clients in the region.

Watts holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina Charlotte and an Associates in Applied Science – Survey Technology from Central Piedmont Community College. A licensed professional land surveyor in North Carolina and South Carolina, he is an active member of both the North Carolina Society of Surveyors, Mecklenburg Chapter and the South Carolina Society of Professional Land Surveyors, Tri-County Chapter.
