ChristianaCare has submitted a Notice of Intent to the Delaware Health Resources Board to develop a new health campus in Georgetown, advancing its previously announced $865 million investment in Delaware over three years. Bohler’s Rehoboth Beach team is proud to support this transformative project with comprehensive site civil engineering, permitting, lighting, and landscape architecture services.
Planned as a 42,000-square-foot facility and expected to open in late 2028, the Georgetown campus will expand access to comprehensive outpatient and emergency care in Sussex County — one of Delaware’s fastest-growing and historically underserved regions.
Bohler is partnering closely with ChristianaCare, HKS Architects, and the broader project team to navigate approvals, coordinate infrastructure, and design site solutions that position the campus for long-term success.
Similar to ChristianaCare’s upcoming campuses in Springfield and Aston in Delaware County, Pennsylvania — projects also supported by Bohler — the Georgetown campus will feature a health center offering primary care, specialty care, behavioral health, and other outpatient services, alongside a neighborhood hospital with eight emergency beds and eight inpatient beds.
Through proactive permitting, thoughtful site design, and coordinated infrastructure planning, Bohler is helping lay the groundwork for a campus that will enhance healthcare accessibility and support the continued growth of Sussex County for years to come.
